Lake View Cemetery: The Haserot Angel

It’s called the Angel of Death Victorious. Due to an effect of weathering and erosion on the bronze, the statue appears to be weeping black tears at all times.

(via rustedbox)

Captivating Photos of Iceland from Jérôme Berbigier

on Facebook., on 500px

Though born in the beautiful Loire Valley of France, photographer Jérôme Berbigier did not begin shooting until moving to Australia in 2007. A lover of nature and the outdoors, his work reflects his strong connection to the world’s oceans and the dramatic landscapes and tumultuous weather conditions which surround them. In this series, he captured stunning photos of Iceland and its many gorgeous waterfalls and shorelines. Dark, foreboding skies contrast with bright blue flowing waters whose cool chill can almost be felt through the picture.
